Why We Might Not Buy Your Pokémon Cards

We'd rather tell you now than after you've posted a parcel. These are the cards we usually can't take, and why. If your collection has the good stuff, tell us about it here.

Bulk and commons

Most commons, uncommons and modern standard holos and reverse holos sell for pennies. Once postage and time are counted, there's nothing left for you. If you have a binder of them, look for cards with ex, GX, V or VMAX in the name, full arts and anything with a gold or rainbow finish. Those are the ones worth sending.

Sealed booster product

We don't buy booster packs, booster boxes or ETBs at the moment. Individually sealed promos are welcome.

Fakes

We see counterfeit cards every week, often the shiny gold or silver cards sold in bundles online. We'll tell you plainly, and they come back to you with anything we don't buy.

Other games

We're only buying Pokémon cards at the moment.

Chinese and Korean cards under £100

We buy English and Japanese cards. Chinese and Korean cards are welcome if they're worth £100 or more each.

Damaged cards

We still buy good cards with damage. They're priced for their condition, so a heavily played card is priced at its heavily played value. See our condition guide.

What happens to cards we don't buy?

They come back to you (you cover return postage). If you'd rather, we can donate them to a local shop for kids learning to play.

What we do want

Vintage holos, 1st Editions, ex, GX, V and VMAX cards, full arts, illustration rares, graded cards and sealed promos. Any single card that sells for £100 or more. We pay 70% of each card's eBay sold price, the same day you accept, or sell your best cards on consignment and you keep 80%. How we price your cards.

Not sure? Fill in the form and tell us what you have. Photos are optional and there's no obligation.
